Dear Kurt and family,
I am so deeply saddened to learn of Lisa's passing. My memory of her is how brightly her soul shined through her and her beautiful face and amazing smile. Bless you all and our prayers go to all of you at this extremely difficult time. So very sorry.

Ms. Harmon taught my 4th/5th grade class. She made a huge impact on my life and I'm devestated to hear about her passing and i dont know if i will make it to the wake and funeral. God bless Lisa Harmon and her family. She will make the perfect angel.

My deepest and sincerest condolences to the entire Orrock and Harmon families to lose someone so young and full of love and life will never be understood. May Lisa rest in heavenly peace. May she be the sun on your face the wind in your hair the rain on your face and every breath that you breathe.

Our prayers are with your family and friends. Mariana will never forget you as neither will I. You made her 4th grade year one she will always remember and thank God for the honor of having you as her teacher. We love you Mrs. Orrock and will miss you terribly always.

My heart goes out to you Kurt, and the rest of Lisa's family. I photographed your wedding and to this day, she was my FAVORITE bride to work with! She made me laugh so many times! I am so sorry for your loss and I hope all of the wonderful memories of her great smile and laugh help you through this terribly sad time.

To the family of Mrs. Orrock,
I am so very much in shock and sad by the loss of Lisa. She was not my daughters teacher but part of the fourth grade team. She cared so much about each and every student and all the children loved her. She was funny, silly, and always happy. I consider myself to be lucky to have known her. How is it that a 9year old can remember that Mrs. Orrock's birthday was three days after her own? It's because Mrs. Orrock took time out of her own busy day to sit and talk with students that were not in her class. You did not have to personally know her to get a hello, or a how are you? It was just something she did. Lisa and I went to the same nail salon and she even socialized with me there and didn't have to. It was just how she was. We will forever miss you! Mrs. Orrock was a wonderful, exciting, special teacher. My son enjoyed laughing and talking about Leo and our new puppy with her. She saw the potential of my son and encouraged him to do more. My first grader walked his last birthday cupcake down to you because you asked him to save you one. Even though he was years away from being in your class, you mattered. My oldest was in your class four years ago and you're the only teacher he still talked about (or at least told funny stories of). For those kids you've already touched, and those you never realized you did, you will be greatly missed!

My heart breaks for your family. The loss of such a young , vibrant woman is so how to understand. Heaven surely welcomed her with as much enthusiasm as her students did on a daily basis. Carol Stream School will miss you.
