Larry R. Jordan, age 68, of Sandwich, IL passed away on Thursday, August 25, 2016 at his home. He was born on April 24, 1948 in Hinsdale, IL the son of Richard and Estelle (Cavanaugh) Jordan.

Larry was united in marriage on April 23, 1983 to the former Marilyn Walz and they spent the next 33 happy years together. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, and uncle who will be deeply missed by his family and friends.

Mr. Jordan serviced his country proudly as a member of the United States Army. He was a member of Pipefitters Local 597. Larry loved spending time with his grandchildren. He enjoyed crossword puzzles and was an avid race car fan.

He is survived by his wife, Marilyn Jordan of Sandwich, IL; his children, Daniel (Wendy) Jordan of Glen Ellyn, IL, April Naleway of Glen Ellyn, IL, Christiane Milakis of Somonauk, IL, and Shannon Jordan of Glen Ellyn, IL; his grandchildren, Michelle Slezak, Nicole Jordan, Chester Naleway, Mitchel Naleway, Alexander Milakis, Kayla Milakis, and Dimitrius Milakis; his brothers, Alan Jordan of Aurora, IL, Rick Jordan of Cookeville, TN, and Tyrone (Jeannie) Jordan of Lombard, IL; and his nephew, Jason Jordan of Mansfield, TX.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Richard and Estelle Jordan; his sister-in-law, Sandra Jordan; and his nephew, Neil Jordan.

Private interment will take place in the Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery in Elwood, IL at a later date.
