To the Jones family,
Katie was an absolute dream to bring to and from school. I Loved her smile. She will be greatly missed by all of us that had the privlege to drive her to school. May she be free and smiling forever.

My heart broke when I read Katie's story on the Tribune website. I am mom to an 8-year old girl with Autism and Epilepsy...each day I come to realize the unique gifts our children share with us for whatever time God allows. Know that Katie and your family have touched us here in Houston, TX and our prayers are with you.

I'm sure our little Katiebug will be looking after all the many people she touched in her short life. Though she had some tough times, she was very loved, which anyone could see if they looked into her eyes or her smiles...the volumes she could tell me daily never got missed. I am glad that she got to touch my life, when I got her route for Laremont, and though I was gone from her route, I still would stop in and see how she was doing through transportation. Now she is free to move around how ever she wants.

Dear Beth and Dave
The day Katie came into this world she knew she had picked the most loving parents a little girl could ask for. Katelyn's life was made whole by the love the three of you, and your family's, gave to her. The time we share with our children is in Gods hands. Peace be with you.

Dear Mr. & Mrs. Jones,
We have no words to offer that could ease your pain at the loss of your daughter, but we know that Katie experienced a life filled to overflowing with God's love because of you. Now she has gone on to experience more of that love but without any of the physical pain of her earthly life. God gave you this little angel for a short while and may your memories of her and your time with her bring you comfort, joy, and peace knowing she is finally home!
