Juanita Martha Shaw, 98, of Downers Grove, Illinois, died on Thursday, June 11, 2020 in Lisle, IL. Juanita was born February 8, 1922 in St. Louis Missouri to William and Sarah Emeline (Langley) Kline. She was raised in St. Louis graduating from Cleveland High School in 1939. She later moved to Chicago and married Ralph R. Shaw, Jr. on February 18, 1950 at The Church of the Atonement, Chicago, Illinois. The couple lived in Chicago and moved to Downers Grove, Illinois in 1953. Living in Downers Grove, Juanita was an active member to St. Andrew's Episcopal Church. She worked in Savings and Loan/Banking while living in Chicago and many of her years in Downers Grove.

She is survived by her daughter, Pamela Shaw (Drew) Bredrup of Downers Grove, IL; grandchildren: Krisitin (Joseph) Catalano, Gregory (Amy) Laubenstein, Julia Bredrup (Jack) Donaldson; great-grandchildren: Audrey, Samantha, Wesley, and Posey.

She is preceded in death by her husband, four sisters and four brothers.

A private funeral service will be held at Toon Funeral Home on Friday, June 19, 2020 in Downers Grove led by Rev. Thomas Craighead. Visitation by invitation will be held from 2:00-4:00 p.m. on Thursday, June 18, 2020 at Toon Funeral Home. Burial will be at Clarendon Hills Cemetery, Darien, Illinois. Memorials may be made to: St. Andrew's Episcopal Church, Downers Grove, IL, Angels for Hospice Charities, Chicago, IL, or Joyful Heart Foundation.
