Mrs. Turns,

I am so sorry for your loss. I met John when I would go pick up a steak dinner at the VFW on Friday nights. I would place my order and then wait in my car and John would bring it to me. I enjoyed our talks while waiting. Later I found out that we lived on the same street a few blocks from each other. John was a very nice man and will be missed by many. You and your family are in my thoughts and prayers.

Dear Marlis and family, my thoughts and prayers go out to all of you. I am Elaine Havens Chapman, a cousin of Johnnie's. My dad was Weldon Havens, brother to Aunt Robbie. I remember Johnnie fondly from my childhood, a favorite cousin of mine. Did not keep up with him as I should have but am sorry he suffered and am glad he is at peaceful rest now. Family

We are praying for us all with this loss. As humans we will never have a full understanding of God's plan so we are unable to fully grasp why he takes as he does and when he does. We only feel the void left by the loss. Time, prayer, and the knowledge that John is in a better place will get us through. John impaced many lives and will be remeber for his contribution. We will all miss him.

"Thy shoes shall be iron and brass; and as thy days, so shall thy strengh be."

With Sympathy.
