John T. Sheehan, Jr.

Born: April 29, 1945

Died: September 8, 2016

John T. "Jack" Sheehan, Jr., age 71 of Naperville, IL formerly of LaGrange, IL, passed away peacefully on Thursday, September 8, 2016 surrounded by his family.

He was born April 29, 1945 in Chicago to his loving late parents, John T. and Helen Sheehan. Cherished husband of Dottie Sheehan, wedded for 45 years. Beloved father of Tom and Chris Sheehan. Fond brother of Karen (Berkley) Alexander of Richmond, VA. Dear uncle of Brian (Laura) Alexander and David (Carol) Alexander. Brother-in-law of Ginger Montgomery of Cary, IL and nephews David (Shelly) Dowse and George (Betsy) Dowse.

Jack was a 1963 graduate of Lyons Township High School and attended Culver Stockton College. He spent many years as a fireman with the Pleasantview Fire Protection. He held various sales positions and later owned and operated Signs by Tomorrow in Naperville. Jack was a proud member of the "We Bad" group in Naperville.

In lieu of flowers, memorials to: Naperville Heritage Society, 523 S. Webster St., Naperville, IL 60540.

Memorial Visitation: Thursday, September 15th 4:00 to 7:00 PM at Friedrich-Jones Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 44 S. Mill St., Naperville, IL 60540. Memorial Service to follow at 7:00 PM at the funeral home. Interment is private.
