John was the fondest husband, father, uncle, and friend to all. He made friends very easily, and whenever I needed help, he was there. God bless you. We'll miss you.

Susan, Elizabeth and Ben, I am so very sorry to hear about John. My sincerest sympathies to all of you. John and you are in my prayers. I'm sure you recall John working with us at the St. Jude League in downtown Chicago in the late 1990's and early 2000. I headed the IT group at St. Jude at that time. John was a respected and valued professional and team member and contributed much to our project's success. Elizabeth and Ben, your father was very proud of you. It really showed when he spoke of your accomplishments. I'm certain that you are aware of that. May God's consolation and strength be with all of you.

I was saddened to learn of the passing of one of our ham radio fraternity. One of the last places John visited was the Midwest Classic Radio Net where all of us, around the midwest, heard him enjoying his hobby. John's signal will be missed. Harry, N9CQX
