John Sada Obituary

John L. Sada, age 88, of Oakbrook Terrace, passed away peacefully on December 13, 2009. Beloved husband of the late Evelyn T. Sada (1998); loving father of John E. (Deborah) Sada and Janice L. Fick; grandfather of Alison, Douglas Fick and John, Kevin and Lauren Sada; brother of Vilma (the late Ron) White; uncle to many nieces and nephews. John was 1st Lieutenant of 837th Squadron Air Corps during World War II, longtime school board member in Elementary School district 48, serving as past secretary, President of Oakbrook Terrace Park District for several years, former Alderman in the city of Oakbrook Terrace and Founding member of the Faith of Community Church. Visitation Wednesday, December 16, 2009 from 4-9pm at Chapel Hills Gardens West, 17W201 Roosevelt Rd. (1 block west of Rt. 83). Funeral Service Thursday 10am at the funeral home. Interment Chapel Hills Gardens West Cemetery. Funeral inquiries: (630) 941-5860

There was no one quite like John. I worked with him for many years at UAC/Continental. He will always have a special place in my heart and memories.
