John Engel Obituary

John K. Engel, 65, 32 year resident of Villa Park, passed away on February 14, 2011. Beloved husband of Nancy (nee Israelson); loving father of Thomas (Jennifer) and Brian (Tricia) Engel; proud grandfather of Ian, Kate and Mason; dear son of the late Elmer and Pearl Engel; dearest brother of the late Raymond Engle. Visitation was Thursday, February 17, 2011, 3:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at Steuerle Funeral Home, 350 S. Ardmore Ave., Villa Park, IL with funeral service at 8 p.m. Interment private. Mr. Engel worked 24 years at Elmhurst Ford Body Shop. He was involved for many years with Villa Park youth baseball. In lieu of flowers, memorials to the Wounded Warrior Project appreciated.
