I just got word from Michael Scannicchio about Uncle John's passing.
I have had him on my mind for the whole month of February....I used to send Birthday cards to Aunt Sally and Uncle John all the time. He had a birthday on Feb. 12, 1973, the day of my mother's burial.
I have a lot of good memories about Aunt Sally and Uncle John. I learned how to sing Old Rugged Cross from Aunt Sally when I was a little girl.
To me they were true Christians. In belief and actions.
I am so sad I haven't seen him in years. We haven't been back to Chicago in decades.
My deepest condolences to Jeanne and Wally and Nancy and Andy and the families of both.
He is now at rest, with his whole family....If they are having as much fun together as they did here on earth, they are really enjoying each other. All the "glue sisters" who all loved the color Red, are happy to see their brother join them.
Rest in Peace, Uncle "J".
