John Bobek Obituary

May you rest in peace. He was a good friend to many in the school business world. He helped my district many times. I am sorry I cannot be at the service today. I enjoyed our visits AND golf games.

Our thoughts and prayers are with John and his family at this difficult time. John was our neighbor for the last two years and it was an honor to have known this wonderful man. We will miss visiting and learning so much from him.

Rest In Peace my friend! I'm glad we got to meet and talk.

Rest In Peace John! I'm a Chicago Firefighter who just recently met John and became friends. I always saw him at LifeTime in Burr Ridge. He was there everyday. We got to talk a few times and he was a very nice man, with a pretty good sense of humor. He motivated me to workout, cause I felt, if he could do it everyday at 84 years of age. So could I. I'm glad I got the chance to meet him and become his friend. I tried sharing a picture, but could not do it. I wish, I could've known him longer. He was my only friend at LifeTime. Gonna miss seeing him around. Goodbye my friend

Grief can be so hard, but our special memories help us cope. Remembering you and your loved one today and always.
