Jerry Lee Obituary

Lee, Jerry S. age 87, of Bloomington, passed away on May 5, 2008. Preceded in death by his parents. Survived by wife of 57 years, Rose; son, Bill; sister, Sally (David) McGuire; and his dog, Molly. Memorials preferred to Christ the King Lutheran Church. Jerry was an avid golfer and bowler, and a member of B.A.J.'s of Bloomington. Retired from VA Hospital in 1975, drove school bus for Bloomington and Burnsville School Systems, and a proud Veteran of WWII. Interment Fort Snelling Cemetery, Lane #5. Funeral service 10:30 AM Friday, May 9 with visitation one hour prior at Christ the King Lutheran Church, 8600 Fremont Ave S., Bloomington. Visitation from 4-7 PM on Thurs., May 8 at: Washburn-McReavy Werness Brothers Chapel 2300 W Old Shakopee Rd 952-884-8145

Jerry will be missed greatly. He will always be remembered by the great things he did, especially driving the bus I rode to school!

My mother Arlene and Rose were good friends and they helped take great care of my mother til she passed away 2 years ago.Sorry for your loss

Rose,
So sorry to hear about Jerry! I just have to tell you we had many many good times together over the years. He was a champion teaser and I have missed not seeing him. I have moved to Boca Raton, Florida so cannot make the funeral. You know I would be there!
