Janet Kay Schlemmer (nee: Neikirk), age 70, at rest February 5, 2022. Cherished wife of Francis for over 47 years. Loving daughter of Rosemarie and Lester Brown and the late Maurice Neikirk.; dear mother of Jennifer (Michael) Sarno, Christopher Schlemmer and Brian (Andrew Semelbaur) Schlemmer. Grandmother of Gabrielle and Isabelle Sarno. Loving sister of Barbara (Richard) Rathgeb, Brenda (Wynndel) Buenger, Donald (Michelle) Brown, Debra (Paul) Penning, Mary Kilpatrick and Susan (Bruce) Bathe. Visitation Thursday February 10, 2022 3PM~8PM at Adolf Funeral Home, 7000 S. Madison St. Willowbrook, IL. Funeral Friday February 11th 9AM prayers at the funeral home to Holy Trinity Catholic Church, Westmont, IL. for Mass at 10AM. All services will conclude at the Church. In lieu of flowers donations to either Ronald McDonald House: mhc.org, Hinsdale Humane Society: hinsdalehumanesociety.org, or Brookfield Zoo: czs.org/Brookfield-zoo/donate would be appreciated. I knew Janet for many years, first as our visiting nurse at Concord School and then at Anne M Jeans where I tutored. She was a lovely person and we had many pleasant conversations.
