Jamie King Obituary
Jamie Mangan King, age 60, passed away January 10th, 2015.
Jamie is survived by her mother, Joanell; husband, Geary; two children, G.J. and Mackenzie; G.J.'s wife, Isabelle; granddaughter, Julia; and brothers, John, Jim, and Jerry.
Jamie was an extraordinary woman. In addition to being an incredible mother, wife, and daughter, she was a business leader in the Hinsdale community with her firm, Mangan King Associates, with which she worked in interior design and home building before turning to real estate. She worked with the Hinsdale Assembly as one of their leaders for many years, helping to raise donations for the Hinsdale Hospital, plan the Hinsdale Assembly Ball, and share the spirit of charity to young women each year. Jamie was an exceptionally humble person. She never failed to put others before herself. She touched countless lives and will be dearly missed.
All are welcome to attend a Funeral Mass which will be held Saturday, Jan. 17th, 10:00 a.m. at St. Isaac Jogues, 306 West 4th Street, Hinsdale, followed by a celebratory luncheon at the Hilton Oak Brook Hills Resort, 3500 Midwest Road, Oak Brook.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Hinsdale Hospital Foundation, 120 North Oak Street, Hinsdale.

You are in our thoughts and prayers, Jamie was a wonderful woman. I always enjoyed sitting with her at the Rebel's games and Hoops for Life as we cheered our boys on. May you find strength and comfort in the wonderful memories you have of Jamie.

GJ, I have so many wonderful memories of your mom which I will keep with me forever. She was the most loving and supportive Mom which I felt every time I spoke to her and every note she sent me. I am keeping you, your Dad and MacKenzie in my heart all the time. Please know how much we care about you and your family and are always here for you in any way we can.
