James T. Granger, 85, born December 30, 1935 in Gardner, Illinois passed away May 5 at Hinsdale Hospital. Beloved husband of Deborah (Storck) for 64 years, loving father of Rebecca (Ron) Fuqua, James S. Granger, and Ruth (Scott Habenicht) Granger. Devoted Grandfather to Ashley (Brett) Darst and Kevin (Brandi) Fuqua. Proud Great Grandfather to Brooke Darst. Jim graduated from Morris Community High School, he received a Bachelors degree from Northern Illinois University, and a Masters Degree from Ball State University. He retired after teaching Industrial Arts and computers in District 102 in La Grange for nearly 40 years. He was an active member of Grace Lutheran Church in La Grange for 60 years. He enjoyed the church's men's group activities, bowling, fishing, traveling, woodworking and family activities. A memorial service will be held Saturday, July 10 at 2.00 pm with visitation beginning at 1:00 pm at Grace Lutheran Church, 200 N Catherine Avenue, La Grange Illinois 60525. Memorials are being accepted by Grace Lutheran Church, La Grange, Illinois 60525.
