Henry Kappel Obituary

I am so greatly saddened by his loss. You have no idea how many times I've told stories to my children, family and friends about the best teacher I ever had. I wish all teachers had his gift of humor, patience, and caring. He helped me through a difficult time in my life and I will never forget him. My condolences to his family and close friends. I know all of you have had the greatest loss. He was a wonderful man. I only knew him a short time and he made a huge impact on my life. My thoughts and prayers are with you to see you through this difficult time.

Mr. Kappel was a wonderful person and will be remembered by many. He will be missed. My thoughts and prayers go out to his family during such a sad time.

Mr. Kappel was an amazing teacher and friend who will be greatly missed. He is the only reason that I graduated high school and know I am not the only one who can say.... Thoughts and prayers with his family.

Mr. Kappel was the best teacher I ever had. He will always remain my all time favorite. He taught with patience, humor, and love.

Cousin, I can hardly believe you are gone. Your body is no longer with us, but your spirit will live on in my memory for as long as I am alive. I cherish the time we spent together as young boys. So many memories to hold onto.

So sorry to hear of Larry's passing. Bob and I had such great times with Betty and Larry, going to Sox games and concerts, incuding the Everly Brothers concert that was way too loud and bothered Larry's hearing for some time after. Our condolences to the Kappel family.
P.S. Larry, at least we had 2005 (Go Sox).

You were one of a kind Mr. Kappel. Lots of memories as you stood up in front of the classroom and made our high school years of math so very worth it. With your funny humor and caring ways to your students, I can only imagine what a fun dad to your children and grandpa to your beautiful grandchildren you were.

Valued fellow teacher, a concerned and hard working professional, who reached many, many young (and old) people he dealt with and will be missed by friends (young and old).

I am so sad to hear the news. I feel so bad for losing touch with you. I think of you often when I think of good high school memories. Thank you for empowering me to succeed and to continue to succeed in my professional career. My only regret is that I could not see you at my 20 year reunion and to share my successes with you! Saddened to hear the loss of such a funny man! I hated math but you taught me that it wasn't so hard after all with your humor and lightness of the subject. I learned much more than algebra, I learned that fear of the unknown helps no one . Thanks for that. You will be missed, and my deepest condolences go to your family.
