LuAnn, Laurie and Leah,
Until today I didn't not know your mother had passed aways. I am so sad to learn this! What a wonderful vibrant woman she was! I am forever thankful that she was a part of Laura's life and taught her her first dance steps. And now to learn that your aunt has died is truly sad. They were quite a duo!

Laurie, LuAnn & Leah,
Your mom, Gloria, was a mother to us all. As our dance teacher, she was loving, inspiring, gentle and willing to help any student that had the benefit of her teaching. The "Conway Sisters" created a world class dance facility and ran it with style and grace.
I will be forever grateful for the many lessons...
With loving memories of your mom,
Kimberly Bonneau

To The Sloan Family,
I remember your mom from being in her dance class all through grammar school. That was the 1960's and all the recital's at the end of the season. What great memories!! She sure was a special lady and I will always remember her. God Bless.

Dear Luann, Laurie and Leah,
My deepest sympathy for your loss of your Mom. She was a wonderful lady, so sweet and fun to be around. She just loved all of her dancers and they loved her. She was such a big part of Michelle's growing up that we always think of Gloria when we remember her younger days. No one could tap like Gloria and I am sure that she is doing the "Bill Robinson tap" in heaven.

Dear Luann, Laurie & Leah,
I am sitting here thinking not only about your Mom but, also all of you & the wonderful experience & fun that I had learning from your Mom (and you, too, Luann). Her success as a dancer is surpassed only by the kindness, encouragement, enthusiasm & love with which she taught "......the only art wherein we ourselves are the stuff of which it is made."......DANCE.

January 19, 2011

Dear Luann, Laurie and Leah,
Your mother was my dance teacher, neighbor and mentor. She and your Aunt Jane, played a large part in my growing up years, from Forts Ferry Elementary Shcool to Shaker High. Through them, dance became a central part of my life. As a result of their influence, my own daughers are dancers with dance studios of their own. I will always remember your mother fondly and am so very sorry to hear of her passing. Jeanne Russell Franklin

To LuAnn and all family members, I took dance classes with "Miss Conway," as a Southgate student from 1966 through 1970. I will always remember her fondly. She was everything a dance teacher should be: talented, kind, patient, and creative. Her costumes and dance moves were the best! She helped me do well in a few talent shows and was always encouraging and cheerful. What a thrill it was for me to reconnect with her 40 years later through my adult ballet classes with LuAnn. Gloria was as charming as ever, and we had a lovely "reunion." I suspect Gloria will live on through her wonderful family and dance studio. I send you all my deepest symapthies for this great loss.

Sincerely,
Donna Lamkin

Sorry to hear of your moms passing. Glora was our Sunshine Gal for Our Lady of Fatima Altar & Rosary Society. No one could fill that position better then she could. Whenever I spoke with her she was always so joyful and upbeat, she will be missed greatly.

To Gloria's family; it wasn't that long ago when I was thinking about Gloria & Jane. I took dance lessons from them from the age of 5 all the way through highschool. Dance was a huge part of my life and both Gloria and Jane made it fun and interesting. I have so many great memories of the recitals and going to NYC to dance with the Rockettes. What a wonderful lady she was.
