Gerriet Styve Obituary

Gerriet Styve Gerriet Styve, age 59, of Amboy, died Friday, December 6, 2013, after a long illness. He was born May 12, 1954, in Groningen Netherlands, the son of Hendrik and Alberdiena (Koster) Styve. He is survived by his son, Christopher; twin sister, Johanna (Gordon) Lipe; siblings, Roelf (Cheryl) Styve, Hendrik Jr (Patricia) Styve, Simon (Barbara) Wesselink and Alida Risley; two grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents. Gerriet was a graduate of Lisle High School, and a veteran of the United States Marine Corps. Cremation rites have been accorded. Private burial of cremains will be held at a later date in Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery, Joliet. Funeral arrangements by Mihm-Jones Funeral Home in Amboy.
