Geraldine Ann "Gerry" Dhamer (nee Stubing), 87, of Streamwood formerly of Elmhurst. Loving wife of the late Donald Sr. Beloved mother of Robin (Randal) Roesslein, Donna (Kevin Schoenbeck and the late Tom) Archer, Donald Jr. (Bonnie), James (Monica), and the late Jean Ellen, Richard Daniel, Suellen and Gerald (Cathy). Proud grandmother of Michelle (John), Nicole (Bob), Randi (Kurt), April (Dan), Tommy, Christine, Colleen, Candie (Brian), Adam, Katie and Jerry. Great-grandmother of Mackenzie, Madison, Matthew, Jessica, Joshua, Claudia, Dylan and Austin. Sister of Marge (the late Babe) Wruck, John "Bud" (Anne) Stubing, Richard (the late Margaret) Stubing, Daniel (Ann) Stubing and the late Joan (the late John) Thomas. Aunt of many nieces and nephews. Visitation was at Ahlgrim & Sons Funeral and Cremation Services, 330 W. Golf Road, Schaumburg from 2 to 7 p.m. Sunday, December 19, 2010. Lain in state at Visitation Church, 779 S. York Rd., Elmhurst from 9:30 a.m. until time of Mass at 10:45 a.m. Monday, December 20. Interment St. Joseph Cemetery, River Grove. In lieu of flowers, memorials will be appreciated for the Ron Santo Juvenile Diabetes Foundation. Funeral info: 847-882-5580

Don, Bonnie and Colleen,
So sorry to here about your mom and Grandma. Living out of town, I did not know her that well but I know she was a special friend of my mom's. She will be missed. We are sending our love and prayers across the miles from Williamsburg. God bless you and give you peace during this sad time.

So sorry to view online the passing of Gerry. We knew Don & Gerry for years through the Elmhurst Moose Lodge and shared many happy times together. May God keep you all in his loving arms. Our prayers & thoughts are with Gerry & all of you doing this time.
