Gerald R. Olson, 78, of Bolingbrook, IL passed away on Sunday, July 15, 2018.

He is survived by his loving wife, Barbara Olson; children, Deborah (Gary) Mickow, David (Deborah) Olson, Steven (Elizabeth) Olson; grandchildren, Joseph (Kathleen) Mickow, Jennifer (Nathan) Frank, Melanie (Patrick) Olson, and Matthew Olson; siblings, Wayne Olson, Jack (Jean) Olson, Joyce (Ronald) Salfisberg, nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Merle and Dorothy (nee Mallette) Olson; and sister, Janice Ballard.

Memorial Visitation July 27, 2018, 9:00 a.m. until the time of service 11:00 a.m. at Beidelman-Kunsch Funeral Homes & Crematory, 24021 Royal Worlington Dr., Naperville.

Memorials may be made to American Diabetes Association.
