Gerald Kucera Obituary

Gerald "Jerry" Kucera, age 69. Beloved husband of Denise Kucera, nee Garside; cherished father of Cherise Kucera, David (Kim) Kucera and Daniel Kucera; cherished grandfather of Morgan Kucera and Patrick Zack; dear brother of Sharon (Jim) Phelan and brother-in-law of Lynda (Bill) Gall and Myra Liska; favorite uncle and great-uncle of many. In addition to being a family man, Jerry had a career with Navistar International as a member of management until his retirement. Subsequently, Jerry devoted his later years to the community and children of Naperville School District 203 as a bus driver and then Union President. His love for home improvement projects led him to a weekend career with Home Depot. Visitation Wednesday, September 12, 2012 from 3:00pm to 9:00pm at Adams-Winterfield & Sullivan Funeral Home, 4343 Main St. (1 block S. of Ogden) Downers Grove.
