George Vacherlon Obituary

George P. Vacherlon, a Willowbrook resident since 1994, passed away in Lake Worth, FL, May 24, 2008 at his winter home. He lived in Chicago for many years. He worked at the Prague Movie Theater collecting tickets and ran the projector. During his teens, he also worked for Foote Brothers for 5 years and the Chicago Reclamation Plant from 1947 to his retirement in 1984. Mr. Vacherlon married Theresa Mizner on October 18, 1941 in a double ring cermeony with her sister, Mary Mizner and Joseph Uhrik, he was an usher at the Blessed Agnes Church until they moved to Stickney, IL. He also lectured at St. Pius X Church. Mr. Vacherlon was the beloved husband of Theresa, nee Mizner; loving father of Beatrice (Lou) Cevela and Russ (Paula); devoted grandfather of Diane and Randall Cevela and Brianna and Danielle Vacherlon.
