To the Krug family. On behalf of my family myself and the black community. Please accept my sincere heartfelt condolences in response to the loss of a great man. Years ago when I was fighting to place more Black People in the Construction Skilled Trades. George Krug didn't call the police to arrest me as many did. He allowed the K Five team to meet with meet. K Five hired black people from our data base. The thing that impressed me sooo much was they hired young black men that I couldn't get hired at other contractors. They looked past their transgressions and gave them a chance. K Five financially supported the Comportment Training that we establish to prepare the Impoverished Disenfranchised Young Black Workers so that they were abled to be Professionally Prepared to work in the Construction Skilled Trades. In black life we say when a person passes they become An Ancestor George Krug may the Creator be pleased with you as your families' Newest Ancestor.....

Peace & Respect,

Robert, Jennifer and the entire Krug clan,

Nancy and I extend our sincere sympathy to you on the passing of George.

My business relationship with George begin when we were on the IRTBA Board of Directors in the 1980's and 90's. I remember when George expressed an opinion everyone listened and respected his thoughts.

He had great vision for the roadbuilding industry and built many, many lasting relationships building the Association. His leadership style was of fairness and directness with a smile.

I appreciate having met him, worked with him in the Association, and consider him a true and respected friend.

May God bless him and keep him in the palm of his hand.

Sincerely,

Don and Nancy Hammel

My deepest sympathies go out to Kay and the entire Krug family. I was fortunate to spend time with George in Palm Springs, at Butterfield, and many other places where we would play golf, and have a cocktail or a glass of wine.

He was one kind person, who seemed to know everyone wherever he went, loved people, and had a heart as big as he was.

A great man is gone and he will be missed by many.

Rest in peace George
