Frederick "Fritz" G. Klaus, born: March 18, 1932 in Eureka, Illinois. Passed Away: December 8, 2008 at Lexington Healthcare Center in Lombard, Illinois. He is a United States Air Force Veteran. Longtime resident of Downers Grove. Organizations/Points of Interest. Fritz was a World Traveler and Missionary/English Teacher in Russia, Portugal, Agipjani, India and Indonesia. Starting employment at IBM in 1955, Fred retired after 31 years of service as a Field Engineer. Fritz is the beloved husband of 52 years to Shirley. Loving father of Paul (Sandra) Klaus, Stephen Klaus and Suzanne (Jeff) Lurvey. Proud grandfather of Jessica Shaw, Stasya Lurvey and Sadira Lurvey. Dear brother of James (Jean) Klaus, Thomas Klaus and the late Elizabeth Snyder, the late William Klaus and the late John Klaus. Fond uncle of many nieces and nephews. A visitation will be held Friday, December 12, 2008 from 4PM to 9PM at Adolf Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 7000 S. Madison, Willowbrook, Illinois 60527. Funeral Saturday, December 13, 2008 with 11AM chapel service at the funeral home. Interment Clarendon Hills Cemetery-Darien, Illinois. (630) 325-2300
