Francis R. Duchon

Francis Robert Duchon (Frank), age 86 of Oak Park. US Army Veteran. Beloved husband of the late Rosemary (nee Leker); loving father of Frank Jr. (Shauna), Ann (Richard) Murrell, Judy (Tom) Totin, Maribeth Duchon, Bill Duchon, Rose Duchon, Ed (Jenny) and Dan (Nancy); cherished grandfather of Megan, Casey, Emily, Carrie (Jason), Kyle, Matthew (Heather), Jessica, Rebecca (Levi), Joe, Jenni, Nick and Sara; great-grandfather of Michael, Mariya, Jacey, Jack, Bella, Max, Taylen, Cameron; and great-great grandfather of Bentley; dear twin brother of William and the late Method and Martha Duchon.

Frank was raised in Berwyn and attended Fenwick High School in Oak Park. He played football on the 1945 Chicago City Championship team and went on to play at Ball State where the team went undefeated. He was inducted into Ball State's Hall of Fame. Frank taught high school and coached football at Morton West High School in Berwyn. He raised his family in Oak Park.

Memorial Visitation Saturday, January 31, 10:30 a.m. until time of Memorial Mass, 11:00 a.m. at St. Mary of Celle Church, Berwyn. Interment Mount Auburn Cemetery, Stickney.
