Elizabeth Anne "Liz" Rensberger, 52, passed away on September 23, 2024, in Las Vegas, Nevada.
Born on August 21, 1972, in Elmhurst, Illinois, Liz graduated from York Community High School as part of the Class of 1991. She dedicated much of her career to the restaurant industry, working as a server in various establishments throughout the western suburbs of the Chicago area. She took pride in providing excellent service and valued the connections she formed with those she met.
Outside of work, Liz found great joy in the companionship of her beloved cats. She had a warm presence that made those around her feel welcome and appreciated.
A memorial gathering to honor Liz's life will be held on March 15, 2025, at Yorkfield Presbyterian Church, located at 1099 S. York St., Elmhurst, Illinois, 60126. The service will begin at 11:00 AM and conclude at 12:00 PM, followed by a lunch for those in attendance.
Liz's memory will live on in the hearts of those who knew her. May her kindness and warmth continue to inspire all who were fortunate enough to have shared in her journey.
