Elinore Michael Obituary

Elinore A. Michael, 98, of Boulder City, Nevada passed away February 24, 2010 in Boulder City. She was born April 22, 1911 in Oblong, Illinois to Charles W. and Audra Brubaker Sinsell. Elinore was a retired artist and homemaker. She had lived in Boulder City for 12 years and she had previously resided in Downers Grove, Illinois for 57 years. Elinore was a member of the DAR, the Home Bureau for 25 years, the DuPage Art League for 20 years, and St. Andrew's Episcopal Church in Downers Grove. Elinore was preceded in death by her husband of 61 years, Henry E. Michael; and sisters, Wanda DeNoyer and Betty Irwin. She is survived by her son, David H. Michael (Fumiko) of Bolingbrook, IL; daughter, Charlaine "Chari" Byrne (Jim) of Boulder City, NV; grandsons, Kevin Byrne (Jenna), Gary Byrne (Cheryl), Bruce Michael (Megume), and Brian Michael (Betty); great-grandchildren, Jacob, Brandilee, Ashley, Justin, Stephen, and Sara; and 2 great-great-grandsons. A memorial service was held at the Boulder City Hospital LTC Dining Room. Boulder City Family Mortuary handled the arrangements.
