Dennis Wayne Tomaszewski, 65, Feb. 26, 1950-June 15, 2015. Son of the late Bruno and Dorothy Tomaszewski; devoted husband of Christine (nee Navarro); loving father of Dan; son-in-law of Connie Navarro; brother to Linda (Dan) Gregar, Tracey (Eddie) Simich, Jim (Kathy) Tomaszewski; brother-in-law of Patricia (Kevin) Seeds; fond Uncle to Dan, A.J., Tyler, Jessica, Nick, Anthony, Sydney, Jeremy, Jimmy, Alex, Kristin, Samantha, Gregory and Philip; great-Uncle to many.
Dennis was a resident of Western Springs, IL. and Little Torch Key, FL. He was a devoted family man who loved to fish. Former employee of Darvin Furniture. Dennis was loved very much by his family and friends.
Visitation was held on Monday, June 22, at Hallowell & James Funeral Home, Countryside. Funeral Mass was Tuesday, June 23 at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church, LaGrange. Interment Resurrection Cemetery.
Memorial donations given to The American Lung Association are appreciated.

Dear Christine, Dan, Jim, Linda and Tracy: Thank you so much for letting me know of Dennis's passing. I was delighted in being able to re-connect with Dennis after so many years. He hadn't changed a bit in all those years. I recall many fond memories of his companionship and our many adventures. I'll always keep his warm smile and trusting look in his eyes in my heart. I left a Rosary in his casket this morning, I know he found a great deal of solitude in reciting it, praying for us all.

Dennis, you were a one of a kind. You were always level-headed, kind, comforting and sweet. You had a big heart and always loved us no matter what. I will miss your common sense, your help in life and your loving heart. We are all so sad knowing that we will not see your smiling face or hear your fun laugh. Thank you for loving me and the boys and for being a mentor and father-figure for Jim all his life. We will never forget you. Happy Father's Day in heaven. Love, Kathy
