Deborah J. Messina, 53, of Westmont, formerly of LaGrange Park and Cicero, passed away November 30, 2009 at Good Samaritan Hospital in Downers Grove. Visitation will be held on Thursday, December 3, 2009 from 2-9pm at Svec & Sons Funeral Home, 6227 Cermak Rd., Berwyn. Funeral Friday, December 4, 2009 10:00am from the funeral home to St. Louise de Marillac Church for Mass at 11:00am. Interment Queen of Heaven Cemetery in Hillside. Deborah was employed as a waitress at 47th Street Grill in Lyons. She was a graduate of St. Frances of Rome School and Morton East High School, both in Cicero. Mother of Amanda (Christopher) Woosley; grandmother of Riley and Ava Woosley; daughter of Laverne and the late Gennaro Messina; sister of Melody (Barry) Hamper, Gennaro (Norma) Messina, Laura (Vincent) Schwerin, Cheryl (Richard) Karas, Anthony (Amy) Messina and Frank (Michelle) Messina; aunt and great-aunt to many nieces and nephews.
