I met Dean as a coworker at the Chevy Dealer (ED JAMES CHEVROLET) it grew in to a great friendship. we worked together again at State Farm. We had many good times. Every thing from fishing, side jobbing to all hours of the night, Bears games, car shows, racing and other corvette related events. Dean was a man of many talents, not just car related. Carpentry, intricate leather and wood working. I will remember him every time I watch a Bears game or look at a piece of furniture in my house that he made. I don't think there was anything he couldn't do with his hands, even with that big thumb.
My family and myself will truly miss him.

He showed me what hard work looks like. From the cars he did to the furniture he made. He always had an idea of how to fix a problem no matter what it was. Every time I look at one of the wood trucks he made for me I will think of him. Thank you Dean for being a part of my families life.

I was privileged to work with Dean for several years. He had an anecdote for everything. Always willing to share his knowledge and experience. Enthusiastically he dispensed his passion for his lovely wife, Chicago Bears and Corvettes among other topics while imparting wisdom without you realizing it. They don't "make em" like Dean anymore. He will be missed ..

What a great man! Worked together for many years. I never saw more hands on talent with either fixing a car or building handmade furniture. I never forgot the beautiful roll top desk he built. So sorry for your loss.
