David E. Hahn

David E. Hahn, age 78, Army Veteran, passed away.

Beloved father of Randee (William) O'Heron and Carl Hahn; cherished grandpa of Payton, Mack and Mollee O'Heron and Daniel Hahn; former husband of Jeanette Hahn nee Merk; fond brother of Donald Hahn; also many cherished cousins.

David was fondly called "The Cookie Man" by his friends at his Thursday night meeting.

Visitation will be held Thursday, Febuary 2, 2017 from 3:00 to 8:00 P.M. at Modell Funeral Home, 7710 S. Cass Ave., Darien. A Memorial Service will be held Friday, Febuary 3, 2017 at 10:30 A.M. at Trinity Lutheran Church, 1101 Kimberly Way, Lisle. Interment at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to American Cancer Society or Alzheimer's Association appreciated.
