I met Dave in the summer of 2009. We hung out most of that summer. He needed my help from time to time. I always obliged. I went to find him in Berwyn the Friday before his death. We hung out together for a few days, that weekend. He was making plans to get back to Las Vegas. I thought he left for there when I learned of his death.
You went home. So long, Gipper.
