Dale will be truly missed here in McKinney TX. His work in Scouting will take many to fill the huge shoes he wore.
I am blessed that I was able to take part in his initiatives for boys of all types to make it to Eagle Scout and to be recognized for their scout like behaviors.
I pray for Dale's family as they come to terms with their great loss.

Mr Dale Dunning. A fellow Scouter, a Friend, our Assistant Scout Master,a Mentor to me and my Family, a pleasure to be around, we shared many moments together and you have left a valuable handprint on my life. We don't know why your time here on earth was cut so short, but heaven called u home your journey is completed. You will be greatly missed and I'm sad for your family and those that u left behind but I know the Master of all scouts had better things for u to do. We will always remember you for your kind heart and a willingness to give and "help other people at all times" a true example of the Scout Oath and Law! I will never forget u and just FYI June 8th 2011 I made Eagle Scout. I know u are so proud for u told me "I was one of your own". I wanted to have u speak at my court of Honor, but heaven called u home. Thanks for all the memories in Troop 406 and for helping me get to "Eagle" I will never forget u and the difference u made in my life. Jean-Luc Fred and family.

To the Dunning family: You all have lost a wonderful dad, brother, grandfather, uncle and the list goes on. He made a tremendous impact on my life. I worked with Dale for several years at Tekelec and he was a true friend to me after we both left Tekelec and moved on to different jobs. I loved hearing his stories about his family.
You all are in my thoughts and prayers. My heart is breaking for each of you and for myself because I have lost a true friend. Dale will definately be missed.

It was a privilege and a pleasure to have known Dale over the last eight years via Boy Scout Troop 406. Dale will always be remembered for his smile, the twinkle in his eye, his jokey comments, his helpfulness with the new, young Scouts and their anxious Mommas, and later for his guidance as the Scout began his Eagle Project. Dale, we will miss you, but you will always live on in our hearts and memories. May you rest in peace.

To the Family, I was saddened to hear about Dale's passing. I was a co-worker with Dale at Taqua. There was never a day that he did not talk about his family and how much he loved being with each and every one of you. He loved you all very much. There is no doubt that he will be greatly missed.

I am certain that there are many stories to be remembered and cherished. I know because he shared many of them at the office. He was so excited to be with his grandchildern. He loved watching Becka decorate her apartment. He enjoyed his nephew and prayed for him when he "shipped" off. He was proud of each of his children and their lives they were building. He enjoyed helping the boy scouts and the AFIL. Yes... Dale left a footprint in many people's lives. Yes...HE WILL BE MISSED.

I share in the grief of your loss. I have lost a friend. He was a very good, hard-working man. I will miss him. My daily prayers are with you all.
