Charles Scheffel Obituary
Charles John Scheffel, 86 of Lyons, beloved husband of the late Rosemarie nee Kunes; loving father of Charles Scheffel, Sherilyn (Nasser) Ghazaleh, Ellen (Ronald) Will and Joseph Scheffel, and proud grandfather of Nicole (Nico) Montemagni, Joshua Will, Alexandra Ghazaleh and Chase Scheffel; dear brother of the late Carole Wuest.
Charles was a U.S. Army Veteran, a machinist at U.O.P. in McCook and an Assistant Fire Chief with the Lyons Fire Department with 25 years of service.
Visitation on Friday, February 26, 2021 from 3 to 8:00 p.m. at Ivins/Moravecek Funeral Home 80 E. Burlington Street, Riverside, with a Memorial service for Charles and his wife Rosemarie who preceded him in death on November 27, 2020. Charles's Funeral services on Saturday, Feb. 27, 2021 at 10:00 a.m. at St. John's United Church of Christ 4800 S Prescott, Lyons. Interment Queen of Heaven Cemetery.
