Carol Horvath Obituary

Carol L. Horvath, age 73, of Plainfield formerly of Wheaton, passed away Wednesday, January 25, 2012, at her home in Plainfield. Carol was born July 16, 1938 in Chicago. She served as Circuit Clerk of the Courts for DuPage County for 15 years. She enjoyed scrapbooking, bridge, gardening, sewing, knitting and crocheting. Carol was the loving mother of Douglas (Anne) of Wheaton, Deanna (Michael) Wiltgen of Sandwich, Patricia (Robert) Huber of Plainfield; dear grandmother of 9, 2 great-grandchildren with 2 on the way. Also survived by her brother, Donald (Betty) Conner of Orange, CA and many nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by her husband of 23 years, Robert and son Allen. Visitation will be Sunday, January 29th, 4-8pm at the Leonard Memorial Home, 565 Duane St., Glen Ellyn. Funeral mass Monday, 10am at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, Winfield. Interment Assumption Cemetery, Winfield. In lieu of flowers, donations to Catholic Charities of Joliet Diocese, 203 N. Ottawa St., Joliet, IL 60432 appreciated. Funeral information 630-469-0032.
