Carol Holzer Obituary

Carol Joan Holzer, of Elmhurst, passed away August 19, 2009 at the age of 74. She worked as an administrative assistant in accounting for Avanti Printing in Villa Park, Illinois. A lifelong Member of Immanuel Lutheran Church. She was the beloved wife of the late Frederick C. Holzer; loving mother of Catherine (John) Ballowe, Dorothy (Roland) Hammer, Philip (Joanne) Holzer and the late Frederick Lee Holzer, Jr.; proud grandmother of Michele, Alexander, Dorothy and David; fond sister of Arthur Lee (Valerie) Bartels and the late Lawrence (survived by Gail) Bartels; dear aunt of many nieces and nephews. At Carol's request all services are private. In lieu of flowers, memorials to the American Cancer Society (630-932-1141) or the American Heart Association (1-800-242-8721) are appreciated.
