Carol Ellers Obituary

Carol A. Ellers nee Massey, 68, a 38-year resident of Addison, passed away April 18, 2009 in Elmhurst, IL. Carol was born April 19, 1940 in East Liverpool, Ohio. Before retiring, she was employed as a Dental Assistant. She was a member of Good Samaritan United Methodist Church. Beloved wife of William; loving mother of Debbie (Steve) Mackerell and David (Jacqueline) Ellers; cherished grandmother of Tim, Travis, Dylan, Sabrina, Rebecca and David; dear sister of Paul and Bill (Kelley) Massey; fond sister-in-law of Barbara (Charles) Trazel. Visitation Tuesday, April 21, 2009 from 3pm until time of Funeral Service at 8pm with the Rev. Brian Smith officiating, at Humes Funeral Home, 320 W. Lake St., Addison (2 miles E of Rt. 53, 2 miles W of Rt. 83). Cremation private. Carol was an organ donor and donated her kidneys to the gift of hope. We are so sorry to hear of the loss of your Mom.It doesn"t seem to matter how ill they were or how suddenly they are taken,it's a difficult thing to go through.Just keep the good memories alive in your hearts.God bless Carol.
