Margy & Family.
Sad to hear abot Carl. He was my closest friend in the Band. I remember shortly after Carl joined the 221st. you were going to be in Richmond Va. He wanted to se you there. Ilent him my 1941 Packard to make that trip. Didn't really know him at that time however I knew I could trust him.
He not only was a great Trumpet player but most of all a GREAT person.
We wish you and your family well. You will always hve the wounderful memories you two shared.

Rick, It was a pleasure and joy to know your father. I enjoyed working with him and hearing his stories. No bond is as great as that between a parent and child. My deepest condolences are with you and your family as you grieve.
