Arthur G. "Butch" Grosse, age 79, lifelong resident of Lyons. US Army Veteran. Beloved husband of the late Geraldine nee Daly; loving father of Arthur S. (Lori), Gene W. (Cynthia) and Phillip K. (Karen) Grosse; proud grandfather of 11.
Retired Fire Chief with the Lyons Fire Department. Longtime Building Inspector and Code Enforcement Officer for the Village of Lyons. Owner of Grosse & Sons Heating in Lyons for 55 years. Proud member of the Illinois Fire Chief's Association.
Services were held on Monday, August 10, 2015. Interment Mt. Auburn Cemetery.
