Peter,

I am so sorry to hear that your mom passed away. She used to make lunch for my brother Kirk and I when we went to Piper so many years ago. She taught us about God and Prayer. I still pray for things today at age 51. I will never forget her.....

Dear Pete, I am Marge Konigsfeld's niece, and I just loved your mom. She did my wedding dress alterations when I wanted to reuse my mom Shirley's wedding dress. She wrote beautiful notes, and I was always amazed by her talents. She holds a dear place in my heart. May God wrap his arms around your family at this time and give you peace. Love, Kay Walz

Dear Pete;
Thinking of the days, so long ago, when your Mother would "Shepherd" all the Cub Scouts around the basement, or the phone calls between our Mothers that would be all about whatever mischief Ed and I would have been into, the time seems not at all long.

Now, our Mothers are together, and at peace, with Our Lord. I have a feeling, though, that they may be talking about ME, as my "ears are burning"!

I'm sure my Mother is commenting about how PROUD your Mother must be of YOU. The care you gave......

As we roll along it will not be too much longer until we see them both again, and, what a great day that will be. I hope to see you on June 18th.

All my Sisters and Brothers join with me in a prayer of peace for you. and all in your family. Your Mother is in the arms of Jesus. There is nothing better than that.

Peter, I'm so sorry about your mom's death. I know this is a huge loss for you and I'm sorry. I hope you have some peace in knowing what a great son you have been to her and how lucky you both were to spend the kind of time you did in the house. Very few adults get that quality time with their parents…I truly admired your relationship. - Kaye

Pete, I did not have the pleasure to meet your Mom but I know she was a wonderful lady with a huge heart. I know this because you are a reflection of your family. Thankfully you were able to spend devoted time with your mom. i'm sure she appreciated you driving her to family functions and to church. That is important especially for the matriarch. My thoughts are with you.
