Annette M. (Ward) Oliver, 91, entered into eternal life on Sunday, September 17, 2017 at Bria of Westmont, IL.

Born in Cicero January 12, 1926 to her late parents McKinley and Vernel Ward, she had resided in Cicero, Brookfield, Downers Grove and New Port Riche, FL before settling in Westmont 35 years ago. For 37 years, Annette had been employed as a cashier and purchasing agent with General Motors in Broadview, IL. She was a member of the Oak Brook and Burr Ridge Red Hatter Societies. She played the piano as a volunteer in the Chicagoland area and was recognized as Volunteer of the Year.

Besides her parents, Annette was also predeceased by her beloved husband of 50 years, Zedo Oliver, who died in 1995.

Surviving Annette are her loving daughter, Darlene Fritz of Whitehouse Station, NJ; a granddaughter, Monica Register; three great-granddaughters; one great-grandson; and her sister, Carol Pretnar of Willowbrook, IL; and two nieces.

Services were held at Modell Funeral Home, 7710 S. Cass Avenue, Darien. Interment Clarendon Hills Cemetery.
