Ann Nelson Obituary

Ann W. Nelson was born January 3, 1924 in Chicago to Allan and Annabella (nee Buik) Wilson. She passed away on Sunday, September 18, 2011 at the Lutheran Home and Services in Arlington Heights. Mrs. Nelson was an active member at Elmhurst Presbyterian Church where she served on many committees. She is survived by her grandchildren, Andrew A. and Douglas G. Nelson; her brother, Allan (Elsie) Wilson Jr.; her daughter-in-law, Roxane Gray; her nieces, Lydia (William) Falk, and Jean Wilson; and her nephew, David (Allyson) Wilson. Ann was preceded in death by her husband, Bert J. Nelson; her son, Gregory; and by her parents. Visitation is from 10:00 AM until time of funeral service 11:00 AM, Saturday, September 24, 2011 at the Glueckert Funeral Home, Ltd., 1520 N. Arlington Heights Road, (4 blocks south of Palatine Road) Arlington Heights. Interment is at Mt. Emblem Cemetery in Elmhurst.
