I only met Al once but continued to correspond with him via email. He helped me with my research of his WWII fighter squadron, the 118th TRS, 23rd FG inChina and he shared his stories with me. He will be greatly missed.

Marilyn and Family,
I loved Aldo! He was one of my favorite Lion's He will be missed with great regret. I never heard a negative thing come out of his mouth. He was such a positive person. He was the sun of this group. I was so shocked when I heard. I and my husband David are very sorry and will keep you and your family in our prayers. Marilyn you were very lucky to be married to such a great man and the other way around for him too. It is rare in this day in age to find that. Aldo will always be looking over you every day.
