Steven Rich Obituary
Born Nov. 27, 1954, in Rochester, N.Y., he was a son of the late William and Mary Lou Miller Rich. He is married to Linda Avenali, who survives.
Steve was a graduate of Kane High School, Class of 1972, and a member of Knights of Columbus Council 715 and Wilcox Sportsman's Club.
Surviving, in addition to his wife, Linda, are a son, Andy Rich of Kane; four brothers, John Rich, Paul (Sue) Rich, Tom K. Rich and Dave Rich, all of Kane; his sister, Amy Geer of Kane; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, Mary Lou and Bill Rich, Steve was preceded in death by his sister, Lisa Rich.
Friends and family will be received from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday (Jan. 29, 2026) at Cummings Funeral Home Inc. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Friday (Jan. 30. 2026) at St. Callistus Catholic Church with the Rev. William O'Brien officiating. Interment will be in St. Callistus Cemetery.
Memorial donations may be made to Friends' Memorial Public Library, 230 Chase St., Kane, PA 16735.
