Dawn Lucille Love, born October 11, 1954, passed away on January 19, 2026, in Albany, Dougherty County, Georgia. She spent her childhood in Albany, Georgia, and Saginaw, Michigan.

Dawn was preceded in death by her mother, Beverlee Ann Brandal (1962); her mama, Lorraine Love (2025); her father, William Lester Love (2006); her former husband, Bert Nelson Partain (1999); and her half-brother, David L. Love (2010).

She is survived by her sons, Bert Jason "BJ" Partain and his wife, Carrie, of Alabama, and William David Partain and his wife, Sarah, of Washington State. She is also survived by her aunt, Carol Ann Butts of Georgia; her half-sister, Sharon Lott, and her husband, Jerry, of Georgia; her half-sister, Susan Love of Wisconsin; and her half-brother, John Love of Michigan. Dawn leaves behind four grandchildren, one great-grandchild, and multiple nieces and nephews. She is also survived by Danielle Johnson and Samantha Johnson of Michigan, whom she considered grandchildren as well.

She had a lifelong love of dogs, always finding comfort and companionship in their presence. Dawn was also known for her remarkable ability to find family wherever she lived-creating connections, friendships, and welcoming people into her heart with ease.

In honor of Dawn's love for animals, the family requests that donations be made to the Albany Humane Society in her memory.
