Rose Sullivan, nee Nieto, 82, of Albuquerque, NM, passed away peacefully on March 24, 2026, surrounded by the love she spent a lifetime giving to others.

Rose was born on April 6, 1943, in Pastura, NM, to Florentino and Rufina (Martinez) Nieto. Raised with strong family roots and enduring values, she carried those traditions with her throughout her life, shaping the way she loved, cared, and showed up for anyone who needed her.

If you knew Rose, you knew her heart belonged to her family. They were her greatest joy, her purpose, and the center of her world. She had a quiet but powerful way of making people feel cared for whether through her presence, her kindness, or something she made with her own hands. She loved sewing, and through every stitch, she created not just beautiful things but lasting expressions of love.

Rose had a special bond with all her nieces and nephews, each one holding a unique place in her heart. She shared an especially close connection with Gloria Tapia-Pearcy, as well as her Godchildren Lorraine Martinez, Rosemarie Romero, Anthony Duran, Marsha Sullivan, and Allen Madril. And in a way that brought her so much happiness, her beloved "grand dogs" were part of her family too, each one adored and spoiled with love. Special thanks to Lotaburger morning crew at Store #64.

She is now with family members who preceded her in death. She is survived by her loving husband, Tom Sullivan; her daughters, Suellen, Meghan, and Monique, her daughter-in-love. Together, they were the center of her life and the legacy of love she leaves behind.

Rose will be remembered for her gentle strength, her unwavering devotion, and the way she made family feel at home. Her love was steady, quiet, and deeply felt and it will live on in all those who were lucky enough to be part of her life.
