Eduardo Garcia Obituary
Eduardo "Eddie" Garcia was born in Torreon, NM and went home to be with his Lord and Savior in Rio Rancho, NM. He is preceded in death by his parents, Ross and Maria Rita Garcia and his son Stephen.
He is survived by his wife Marguerite, three granddaughters, four great-grandchildren, and six siblings.
A U.S. Navy Veteran, Eddie earned his degree at UNM and spent his career teaching P.E. and coaching baseball in NM and Spokane, WA. Eddie loved teaching and coaching, the outdoors, music, friends, and family. His life was anchored in his faith in Jesus Christ. "You have fought the good fight. You have finished the race."

Yesterday
Ed was a stalwart friend with a great attitude. He always had a joke to tell.
Thirteen years ago, on very short notice, Ed volunteered to sing at my fathers interment ceremony. I'll never forget as he sang acapella Amazing Grace.
I look forward to hearing him sing again in eternity.
