Not sure what to say?

I rented and then purchased this "Grande Dame's " apartment on Wilshire Blvd. in California. Through the years we became friends and when in town she would stop in to visit with me...as I would be in touch with her when visiting San Francisco.
I just found out about her "untimely" death
...and yes, at any age, I consider it untimely. She was a lovely, gracious and beautiful woman. I was very fond of her and will always remember her with great fondness.

Thanks for the Chinese Food!! I recently purchased your book "The Mandarin Way" come to discover it was dedicated and signed by you to someone named Janet in 96'..I feel i was destined to end up with this book since my middle name is Janet also. RIP

Peace, hope and love to her friends and family. Ms. Chiang's life filled a big void within my heart a few years ago. She helped our planet become a much better place for life to exist. Grateful for her public persona.

She will never be forgotten. Our deepest condolences to the family. We pray that God continues to strengthen and comfort the family during this difficult period.

Auntie Cecilia was not just a long time family friend of my parents, she was an inspiration to all. She supported me when I first worked in SF and I owe her so much! She visited us many times when she passed by Hong Kong on her trips to China. I still remember her gentle smile and encouraging words. We will all miss her. Rest In Peace, auntie Cecilia!

Auntie Cecilia was one of my mom’s (Bessie Chiu) longtime and dearest friends. She was greatly admired for her success in the restaurant business and for her energy and passion in her work. She will be remembered and missed by many!

My condolences to Cecilia Chiang family.
