Adriana Pencin Hindman on Sunday, July 15, 2018, passed away at the age of 101 years in Arvada, Colorado.
Loving wife of James Clark Hindman (who pre-deceased her in 2006), Adriana ("Adrienne" or "Ade") was born on March 24, 1917, in McCloud, California. She was one of six children, the daughter of Italian immigrants Luigi Pencin and Luisa Viviani. She attended the University of California at Berkeley, where she studied languages. She subsequently lived and raised her family in the Chicagoland area from 1942 to 1985, initially in Hyde Park in Chicago itself, then in Downers Grove from 1951. Native Californians, she and her husband retired in 1985 and moved back to California to Santa Rosa.
She will be lovingly remembered by her three children, Sandra of Chicago, Illinois, Michael of Butler, Tennessee, and Tom of Arvada, Colorado; and by her five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
