Wayne A. Siemaszek, age 68, a longtime resident of Downers Grove, IL, passed away on April 6, 2018 at his home. He was born on January 13, 1950 in Chicago, IL.
Wayne is survived by his loving son, Dustin W. Siemaszek of Downers Grove, IL; his cherished granddaughter, Aubrey J. Siemaszek; his sister, Bonnie Elza.
He was preceded in death by hisparents, Leon "Leo" and Irene Siemaszek; his brother, Randall "Randy" Siemaszek; and his faithful four-legged friend, "Shadow".
Wayne grew up in Downers Grove and he graduated from Downers Grove South High School. He enjoyed a 30-year career with the Public Works Department of Downers Grove. Wayne was an active outdoorsman and loved to go fishing and hiking. He always had a love of animals, especially dogs. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
Visitation will be Wednesday, April 11, 9:00 AM until the time of funeral services begin at 11:00 AM at the Friedrich-Jones Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 44 S. Mill St., Naperville. Interment will follow at SS. Peter & Paul Cemetery, Naperville.
